Hailing from the ghettos of Auckland (the Prague of the South), The Benka Boradovsky Bordello band is a highly theatrical musical troupe offering a sprinkle of kelzmer, a lingering hint of the Eastern European influences. Think Tom Waits, Shane McGowan and Franz Kafka on too much vodka and in 1950s Yugoslavia.
With music ranging from originals to standards, vocal to instrumental, they are remarkable in their ability to get everyone up and dancing.
